In Ho Chi Minh City’s Landmark 81, the tallest structure in the nation, a new Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection hotel has just opened.

In terms of infrastructure, the bar for opulent accommodations has recently been raised in Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh City’s highest structure, Landmark 81, now houses the brand-newVinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection. It stands at an impressive 461 meters (1,512 feet) tall and is located in the eastern part of Vietnam’s largest metropolis, Saigon.

Naturally, the panoramic views are a major lure. Throughout the property, there are 223 rooms and suites. The 68th-floor penthouse suite, which the hotel boasts to be both the largest and highest presidential suite in all of Vietnam, is the most lavish of the group, highlightsCNN Travel.

The 488 square meter suite features two marble baths, room for up to five people to sleep, and access to a private mixologist and chef upon request. For optimal appreciation of the surroundings, every single room, not just the suites, features floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Pho, the noodle soup that is undoubtedly the nation’s most well-known dish, is taken to the next level by the addition of wagyu beef at the hotel’sOriental Pearl restaurant. In addition, locally crafted chocolates and traditional Vietnamese coffees are offered at the fittingly titled café, The Cloud.

At the Vinpearl, there are three event spaces. According to the hotel, all three feature outdoor terrace areas, one of which is large enough to park a car in.

There’s also a spa calledAkoya, named after the gorgeous pearls used in Vietnamese culture. Spa services such as massages and facials are available, and guests also have access to a steam room, an infinity pool, and a sauna.

“We look forward to elevating the level of hospitality for local and international business and leisure travelers in this vibrant Vietnamese metropolis,” Vinpearl’s general manager, Goetz Bauer, commented in a statement. “We hope to become a new beacon of light on the skyline, fostering meaningful connections between our cherished guests and the quintessential spirit of this compelling city.”

There are 81 stories in the building, and 34 of them are taken up by the hotel, which is the first of Marriott’s Autograph Collection to open in Vietnam.

The remaining areas of Landmark 81 house both private dwellings and public venues. In addition to the 81st-floor observation deck, the building also houses an ice-skating rink, a movie theater, a children’s play area, and a shopping center, all of which are open to guests.

The building was modeled after the legend of Thanh Giong, a Vietnamese child who, at the age of three, defeated his rival with nothing but a bundle of bamboo.

The nearest airport to Vinpearl Landmark 81 is Tan Son Nhat International Airport, which is the largest and busiest airport in Vietnam, and is situated about 11 kilometers (7 miles) away.
