This Giving Tuesday, give back to your community by supporting or volunteering for one of these Black causes.
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity event that takes place every year the Tuesday after the Thanksgiving holiday. On Giving Tuesday people are encouraged to donate to non-profit organizations that serve causes that they support. This year consider supporting a Black cause that is near and dear to your heart! Last year almost 3 billion dollars were raised by non-profit organizations on Giving Tuesday unfortunately, only a fraction of that money went to Black causes. In this video, U-Turn host Suzette Webb shares a few ideas for giving your money (or time!) to organizations that serve Black communities.
