The festival’s line up includes Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, Tech N9ne, and Loud Luxury.

Between his Super Bowl win with the Kansas City Chiefs and his acclaimed hosting gig on Saturday Night Live, tight end Travis Kelce will be adding another major event to his already jam-packed year: a music festival.

On April 4, Kelce announced that he will be hosting his first music festival in Kansas City called “Kelce Jam.” Keeping in line with his football roots, the event will be held on Friday, April 28 during NFL draft weekend.

“With the draft coming to KC, I think it’s perfect timing for me to throw the biggest music festival that’s ever come here,” said Kelce to ESPN. “We’ll have some unreal stage productions, Kansas City’s best food, tons of attractions and football-related games. This will be a whole lot of fun.”

Kelce Jam, which the two-time Super Bowl winner believes could draw in around 15,000 attendees, will be held at the Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The festival will include performances from rapper-turned-rocker and Kelce’s former neighbor Machine Gun Kelly, Rick Ross, DJ duo Loud Luxury and Kansas City-native, Tech N9ne.

Kelce notes that he was inspired by fellow Super Bowl champ Rob Gronkowski, who launched Gronk Beach in 2022 during the NFL draft in Las Vegas.

“I took note from what Gronk did last year,” Kelce said. “I want to throw a big party knowing that the draft is coming to Kansas City. It’s a special event for the city to host. … I’m going to need Kansas City to come out and be electric with me.”

Kelce is currently in his heyday and Kelce Jam is a way for the football star to continue on an upward trajectory, while bringing something new to a city he now has close ties to.

“Every door that’s been opened because of winning the Super Bowl, I’ve been running through them,” he said to ESPN. “It’s not going to stop anytime soon – especially with Kelce Jam. I think this will be the nail-in-the-coffin for the 2022 season.”

Tickets are on sale now for Kelce Jam, starting at $49.99. To purchase yours, visit KelceJam.com.
