Saks Fifth Avenue and Inspirato team up to offer customers double the luxury

The travel subscription service will train 3,000 Saks stylists to be brand ambassadors.

Luxury department store chain Saks Fifth Avenue and travel subscription brand Inspirato are teaming up for what may seem like an unlikely partnership. Beginning in the second quarter of this year, approximately 3,000 Saks stylists will have the ability to sell luxury travel subscriptions in-store and online as Inspirato brand ambassadors.

“At Saks, our strategy is centered on providing our customers with access to the very best in luxury,” Saks Chief Executive Officer Marc Metrick said. “As the largest luxury e-commerce platform in the U.S., it’s our mission to establish lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers and that includes delivering an assortment of experiences tailored to their unique lifestyles.”

Travel Pulse reports that Saks stylists will be trained on Inspirato’s subscription offerings with the purpose of introducing Saks’ clientele to the company and all that it has to offer. The collaboration between the two brands is reciprocal, as Inspirato members can apply to the SaksFirst Card to participate in the SaksFirst Rewards Program. Benefits include free standard shipping, invitations to special events, beauty rewards, VIP experiences and early access to sales.
