The notable hotel and restaurant chain expanded into the prestigious neighborhood of Buckhead, adding to a complete renovation of the Phipps Plaza area.

The Nobu Hotel Atlanta is a recent addition to the Buckhead skyline and may be one of the best yet.

The 15th location in the world-renowned franchise lives up to the brand standards, plus some.

The luxury accommodations were part of a complete overhaul of the Simon’s Phipps Plaza area. The makeover included a 13-story office building, the hotel and its world-famous sushi restaurant, LifeTime Fitness and Citizens Food Hall.

The luxury retail offerings of Phipps Plaza shopping mall greet you as you enter the multi-use complex. Nobu Hotel Atlanta is nestled in the back of the development, ensuring every window in the 9-story building has a view of the beauty of Buckhead.

Two Nobu-branded Porsche Taycan “house cars” sit at the hotel entrance. The cars provide chauffeur services within a three-mile radius of the location. The service is part of the partnership between Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) and Nobu Hotel Atlanta.

The luxury brands teamed up to create an immersive, first-of-its-kind hospitality experience.

Where You’ll Be Staying…

The signature Nobu lemongrass scent envelops you as you enter the lobby. The opulence begins at check-in as guests receive a refreshing cup of lemongrass tea and a warm hand towel doused in similar scented oils.

The Rockwell Group is responsible for the impeccable detail of the hotel’s interior design. The common areas and 152 guest rooms are decked out in Japanese-inspired decor with accents of dark cherry wood and neutral-tone linens and furniture.

Guests can rest assured they are secure in the hotel. Designated floor access is only made available with the swipe of your room key at the elevator bank, so no community meet-ups in one room if you and your friends are not on the same floor.

Guestrooms include a variety of suites (Zen, Sake, Momji, Yuhi, Nobu Villa) and deluxe, executive and premium rooms. The Porsche Icon and Porsche Classic Rooms highlight the partnership between the two luxury brands. The rooms are decorated elegantly with Porsche memorabilia, art, and decor celebrating the iconic German automobile. Individuals who book these rooms can add extra perks, including the Porsche driving experience.

Most luxurious en-suite bathrooms offer double vanities and full walk-in glass-encased with rainfall shower heads. If you are lucky enough to book the Nobu Villa and Yoshi Suite, you will also have the option of a deep soaking tub.

Nobu’s top-tier amenities are available in every room:

  • Complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi
  • Nespresso coffee and tea machines
  • Exclusive Nobu Path Water water bottles (free refill stations are in the lobby)
  • Natura Bisee hair and skin care products
  • 65″ Smart TVs with interactive web technology
  • Access to the rooftop pool and exercise center, and more

What You’ll Be Eating…

Attached to the hotel is the namesake of the Nobu brand. Under Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s direction, Nobu has been credited as the forerunner of the sushi restaurant craze – and they do not disappoint. Their signature Black Cod with Miso is a favorite and rightfully so. The restaurant offers a full sushi menu, including traditional and “new style” sashimi. Prime rib, organic chicken, and Wagyu short rib dumplings are also on the robust menu.

For a quick bite, the trendy food hall Citizens Market is across the breezeway and offers a plethora of food, including even more sushi. The “25,000-square-foot culinary playground encourages hungry guests to engage their taste buds with global flavors. The space features eight stalls that offer anything from juicy burgers to slurpable ramen, some of which are the brainchildren of reputable chefs, including Dani Garcia, Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, and Italian chef Dario Cecchini.”
