Anticipated for the weekend of June 2 at The Mann Center in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park, The Roots have revealed the full lineup for their 15th annual Roots Picnic. Headlining the first night of the festival outside the park at the Wells Fargo Center will be Ms. Lauryn Hill, Diddy (backed by The Roots), Lil Uzi Vert, and Dave Chappelle. According to FADER,The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Ms. Hill’s first and only studio album released on her own, will also be commemorated.

Not only does the Roots Picnic lineup feature its headliners, but also a slew of other impressive acts like Syd, City Girls, GloRilla, Ari Lennox, Coco Jones, DVSN, Spinall, and a number of the Soulquarians, who will be joining the Isley Brothers and Roy Ayers up on the stage. Black Thought, of The Roots, will team up with DJ J.Period to record a live mixtape with guest appearances by Eve and Busta Rhymes. Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Peedie Crakk, and the duos Young Gunz (Young Chris and Neef Buck) and Oschino & Sparks (Oschino Vasquez and Omillio Sparks) will all be reuniting to perform as the legendary Philadelphia rap group State Property.

Of course, the music isn’t the only focus at Roots Picnic. Okayplayer notes that there will also be a separate podcast stage on deck. Questlove will be hosting a live episode of Questlove Supreme, as well as new episodes of his other podcasts, including Charlamagne Tha God, Lip Service with Angela Yee, People’s Party with Talib Kweli, and many more.

On Thursday, February 21 at 12 PM ET, members of the fan club will be given access to a special pre-sale. The general public sale will begin the following day, Wednesday, February 22nd, at 10 AM ET. Tickets and VIP packages for the weekend are available at the Roots Picnic website.
