With spring break coming up, here are five hotels to stay at if you chose to vacay in Miami.

March is here, which means spring break is right around the corner. Whether you’re a stressed out college student or busy working the 9-5 grind, this time of year is perfect for a quick reset and a change of scenery is a great way to do so. Sunny, beach destinations are always a popular option, but if you haven’t received your passport in time to go abroad, Miami is always a top-tier choice.

Florida consistently finds itself on “top Spring Break destinations” lists, with Miami being a no-brainer because of its sunny beaches, warm climate, expansive culture and abundance of activities. The Travel recently listed 10 budget-friendly hotels in MIA; here are five of them, as well as things to do near the cost-effective stays, to help kickstart your Spring Break planning.

Fortune House Hotel

This luxury 4-star hotel is ideal for folks who want to turn their Spring Break weekend into a Spring Break week (or weeks, we’re not judging). The Fortune House Hotel offers condo-style suites that are sure to make your stay in Miami a bit more home-y. Amenities include a living area, kitchen, washer and dryer, and balcony, to name a few. The hotel is also located in the Brickell neighborhood, allowing guests to shop at the Brickell City Centre, catch a movie at the CMX Brickell City Center Theater, and grab a cocktail at Tobacco Road.

Hotel Colonnade– Coral Gables

Hotel Colonnade is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection hotel line, known for its unique design and luxurious amenities. This hotel combines Miami’s eclectic energy with European elegance to create a stay fit for any archetype. Amenities such as an outdoor heated pool, gift shop and lobby bar are enough to make you want to stay on hotel grounds, but the hotel’s location on the Miracle Mile makes for easy access to various shops, restaurants and excursions.

Hotel Victor South Beach

Hotel Victor is located in the heart of South Beach and dubs itself the “home for the sophisticated traveler.” The hotel’s rooms and suites take on a “beach house vibe” with neutral tones and natural textures that helps to put guests at ease. The K’Alma Spa can help guests continue to unwind during their stay. Hotel Victor has on-site restaurant options including Italian eatery Gianni’s and Redhead Sandwich. With an address on Ocean Drive, folks who want to venture outside of their suites will have more than enough to do.

Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami

Hyatt Centric is nothing short of a vibe. Not only is it located in the heart of Brickell, but it also oversees gorgeous Biscayne Bay, city lights, and is one of the tallest buildings in the city. If that hasn’t convinced you yet, maybe Hyatt Centric’s on-site restaurant and rooftop pool will. If glitz, ritz and city life is more your speed, this hotel might just be the one for you.

The Palms Hotel and Spa

The Palms is the perfect place for those who want to relax and unwind. As the title alludes, this hotel is coupled with The Palms AVEDA Spa. The serene, nature-inspired atmosphere allows guests to rest and rejuvenate their mind, body and soul with a wide-range of services, treatments and therapies. If you’re wanting to explore The Magic City, The Palms sits between Collins Avenue where guests can make their way to the Miami Beach boardwalk, grab a bite to eat or head over to The Bass Museum.
