Hyatt is set to add nearly 2,000 rooms to Be Live Hotels' Sunscape Resorts & Spas in the Dominican Republic to expand its Inclusive Collection brand.

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has partnered with Be Live Hotels to grow the Sunscape Resorts & Spas brand in the Caribbean, which will add nearly 2,000 rooms to the Inclusive Collection.

Later this year, two hotels in the Dominican Republic – owned by the Spanish hotel chain Globalia – will reopen as the Sunscape brand’s signature all-inclusive resorts and spas, according to Travel Pulse.

“This planned expansion of the Sunscape Resorts & Spas brand in the Caribbean marks an opportunity to broaden all-inclusive family-friendly offerings in a desirable market for global travelers,” said Javier Coll, Group President of Global Business Development & Innovation of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection. “We believe this collaboration showcases the combined strength and potential of Hyatt and Apple Leisure Group and how owners are empowered to remain vested in their assets while achieving success through our brands, distribution channels and global reputation.”

With its bright and colorful beachside sites, Sunscape Resorts & Spas provides visitors with a wide variety of activities that every member of the family can enjoy. Hospitality Net highlights the Explorer’s Club as a safe and fun supervised place for children under the age of 12 to spend the day, while the Core Zone is designated for teenagers. The Unlimited-Fun experience guarantees top-notch service, fine dining with kid-friendly alternatives, delightful beverages, and an unlimited array of daytime and evening activities for the whole family.

“For Globalia, this moment with Hyatt represents another success in the strategy followed by the group to recover and strengthen our leadership position in the markets where we are present together with a company that is world-renowned in the hospitality industry,” said Juan José Hidalgo, President of Globalia. “We are proud to walk together with Hyatt in the development and growth of a differentiated proposal for the vacation model in the Sunscape Resorts & Spas brand, and we hope to continue working together on future projects to redefine our sector.”

When it comes to the tourist industry in Spain and South America, Globalia is a frontrunner. Be Live Hotels is one of its many brands, along with Air Europa, Ground Force, Globalia Mantenimiento, and Globalia Contact Center.

The Inclusive Collection by Hyatt raises the bar for all-inclusive resorts by providing guests with premium services, unending hospitality, and mindful touches that go above and beyond. Hyatt’s all-inclusive portfolio includes the likes of Hyatt Ziva, Hyatt Zilara, Zoetry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas, Dreams Resorts & Spas, Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts, Alua Hotels & Resorts, and Sunscape Resorts & Spas, all of which provide guests with exceptional and captivating experiences.
