Even though the wellness resort in Arizona won't be ready until 2025, TJH is already offering an exclusive lineup of wellness retreats.
If what you crave is self-care and disconnection from the world to refocus on yourself, The Jenesis House provides an exclusive line of wellness retreats for adults only, that may be of great interest to you. These distinctive, one-of-a-kind experiences, which cater to those seeking luxury self-care, are available in a variety of locations, including Marrakech, Morocco; Sedona, Arizona; and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The Jenesis House (TJH) retreats provide extraordinarily distinct experiences meant to aid participants in developing a profound sense of self-care, revealing meaningful purpose, fostering their creativity, distancing themselves from the world and re-connecting with what matters, witnessing a momentous occasion, or setting out on a novel voyage to an unpredicted location. Their exclusive desert oasis retreats are the ideal setting for ushering in significant transformation, whether one is seeking to cultivate rejuvenation or find adventure.
The brand stands out among those similar of its kind thanks to its elegant Afro-Asian influences, spa-like opulence, farm-to-table cuisine, and a plethora of wellness experiences, all of which take place in a breathtaking, naturalistic environment. This innovative idea is the brainchild of Jenesis Laforcarde, a trailblazing female entrepreneur who hopes to make history in Arizona by founding the state’s first Black-owned adult-only resort company.
“At The Jenesis House retreats, we believe that true wellness comes from within,” Laforcarde said. “Our expert team provides guests with an unforgettable experience that encourages personal growth and transformation. We offer a variety of programming options that cater to all interests and fitness levels – from yoga and meditation to hiking and biking. With each retreat location boasting its own distinctive charm and culture, there is something for everyone at our retreats.”
When conceived, the Jenesis House’s mission was to educate people about the value of prioritizing their own well-being, both mentally and physically. In this way, TJH hopes to make conventional buildings like hotels, B&Bs, and apartment complexes into sanctuaries for relaxation and rejuvenation.
These areas will feature an Afro-Asian aesthetic to reflect the multifaceted life stories of its founder. Resort guests can anticipate a soothing, serene, and self-care-focused setting. By providing a sanctuary for total mental and physical renewal, this resort hopes to change the way people perceive health and wellness.
TJH is able to lay the groundwork for its primary mission and begin offering those experiences directly to its guests at the retreats. While the first location will be in Prescott, Arizona, the team is already making plans to grow beyond the state and provide people with unique getaways from the day-to-day.
Chèque Ya Self: Sedona, Arizona
Takes place from June – October, with several dates available in December.
This retreat is minutes from the heart of Sedona and is situated on the banks of Oak Creek, encircled by beautiful Red Rock Canyons. Both on land and in the water, the region offers countless outdoor adventures.
The Dome, a one-of-a-kind 12,000-square-foot structure on 4.7 acres, will provide an unforgettable experience. It is located between two vortexes, so powerful healing energy can flow freely through the property. There are 10 guest studios in The Dome, and each one can accommodate two people. In addition to the magnificent red clay canyons as a backdrop, the retreat center is outfitted with a private commercial kitchen, a saltwater swimming pool, a luxurious spa, outdoor lounges, a rooftop deck, a movement room, a Himalayan salt room, five spa treatment rooms, and five quiet rooms for private healing sessions. Sedona is a wonderful place to experience the area’s restorative energy and stunning natural scenery.
Chèque In: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Takes place in May, June, July and October
This secluded oceanfront resort, 20 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, has been fully occupied by The Jenesis House. Guests can stay in one of 16 luxurious rooms on the property’s five private acres, which are bounded on one side by the Baja Desert and on the other by the Pacific Ocean, providing a soothing sight for guests.
A large clubhouse, saltwater pool, and hot tub can all be found at this off-the-grid, solar-powered property. In addition, there are two dedicated yoga spaces, a beautiful observation deck, and a mysterious stone labyrinth.
Chèque Out: Marrakech, Morocco
Takes place only in November
The fourth-largest city in the Kingdom of Morocco, Marrakech, was chosen by The Jenesis House as the site for its retreat. The red walls and brick courtyard of this retreat with a traditional feel are illuminated by lanterns. The 20 bedrooms are decked out in traditional Moroccan rugs and sleek contemporary furniture. The setting was influenced by the magnificent fashion pieces at the Majorelle Garden and the neighboring Yves Saint Laurent Museum.
Everything from traditional Moroccan cuisine prepared by a chef to exciting day trips, relaxing meditation sessions, and daily exercise classes is part of the experience.
TJH’s grand opening and the realization of this long-held vision are directly tied to the revenue collected at these retreats. Starting from such a picturesque location, The Jenesis House hopes to create something truly remarkable that will benefit countless people for years to come.
