Lagos Travel Guide: Beauty Edition

For the medspa lover…..

Reviv is up first on Jacob’s list. A recent branch of the international chain Reviv opened in Lagos in 2021. She notes that their mission is to bring IV therapy to a private spa-like setting and make them accessible and affordable for the mass population.

“As a beauty entrepreneur, I love to take an inside out approach! IV Therapy has been getting a lot of popularity based on its fast and effective results,” Jacob said.

Jacob notes that benefits of IV therapy include “overall glowing skin, increased energy, and a stronger immune system to name a few.”

Reviv is located at 12 Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

For the skincare enthusiast…..

Skincare is one of, if not the most, crucial components of beauty. Jacob’s preferred spot for facials and other skincare treatments is The Seattle Residences and Spa. It is located in a posh section of Victoria Island, making it the ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of Lagos. For every need, Jacob points out that they provide a sophisticated array of treatments.

They can be found at 12A Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island, Lagos.

For the person who can’t go a month without a fresh set….

Maintaining a well-polished look requires regular nail treatment and upkeep. It’s a necessary part of preserving your own health and hygiene. Jacob frequently visits The Nail Studio, one of her favorite nail salons. There is an extensive roster of qualified nail techs to choose from at this salon. In addition, you can order a snack and beverage from their café and unwind in comfort.

If you’re in Lagos, you can find them at 9 Bishop Aboyade Cole Street, Victoria Island.

For the person constantly needing a new ‘do…

As we near the end of the Lagos Beauty Guide List, one of our most indispensable accessories would be a shame to overlook. Hello??? Our hair! Changing your hairstyle can be one of the easiest ways to improve your self-esteem. That being said, whenever you need hair services, Tasala HQ Hair and Beauty Salon is your best bet. Their stylists have received extensive training and are able to effectively manage a wide variety of hair types.

130B Association Road, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos is the place to go if you’re in the market for a new look.

For the person who loves to get glam….

We can finally agree that perfect makeup makes a world of difference. Jacob pridefully highlights Joyce Jacob Makeup Bar, her own makeup studio located in RJ4 Lagos.

In an impressive display of entrepreneurial spirit, she single-handedly launched this establishment. Located in a prime and easily accessible location, this makeup bar offers a one-stop destination for all your favorite makeup and skincare brands. With a diverse range of products, this spot ensures convenience and accessibility for beauty enthusiasts.

The makeup artists, who have been trained by the industry veteran herself, showcase their excellent skills. If you’re in search of a makeup destination that caters to both those who prefer a barely-there look and those who crave full-on glam, look no further than Joyce Jacob Makeup Bar.
